Green vs Sustainability

Sustainability is a broader concept whereas green implies to relative perception. Sustainability endorses a wider aspect which spans through practices in various stages of production.

A product can be termed sustainable when it has been manufactured through a process which does not risk resources and cast no harm to the components of environment. While, a product which holds minimum to no threat to the environment during its life span can be labelled as green.

A product can be either green or sustainable or both at the same time.

Wood is an eco-friendly or green product but until it has been harvested responsibly not to deplete the forest, it cannot be termed as sustainable.
